Welcome to Castle Canoe Club
The Castle Canoe Club is an open and friendly adult canoe club for those that want to paddle canoes, kayaks and paddleboards. We welcome everyone from beginners to the more experienced paddler.
You need to be a member to paddle with us. If you are not a member, you need to do an induction session regardless of your paddling experience. The induction will tell you more about the club, how things work and where things go. It also includes two additional sessions which you can come to, to help you decide whether or not to join. Once you’ve done induction, you can join.
Members can paddle during our club hours (10:00-13:00 on Sunday mornings all year and Tuesdays 18:00-20:00 in Summer) and use a wide range of kayaks, canoes and paddle-boards provided. Members can also come on trips (river, whitewater, sea; see calendar; and hire boats if needed), come on occasional courses, get a discount on courses run by the West Reservoir Centre, and bring guests (limited, and for a fee).
